Abstract
This article reviews the decisions of the President of UOKiK in matters concerning the control of concentration of undertakings operating in the modern channel of consumer goods retailing (i.e. large-format stores) issued between 2001 and 2014. The decisions are examined from the perspective of the evolution in the approach of the NCA to delineating relevant markets in this sector of the economy. Trends and reasons are pointed out for changes in relevant-market definition. Attention is drawn to the NCA making use of the achievements of foreign competition authorities.
