Abstract
The article concerns issues of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the health care sector. The legal concepts used in the discussed field are presented. Threats related to the protection of sensitive data, including information on patients’ health, are highlighted. The state of the computerization of health care in Poland has been analyzed in the context of the forthcoming introduction of the obligation to create medical records in an electronic form.
