Abstract
The main aim of this article is to analyse key issues concerning patient rights in their capacity as consumers. The healthcare services market has been subject to dynamic development in recent years. For that reason, it is very important to be open to new forms of risk. The present situation in the healthcare services market is important, because a consumer able to clearly identify the character of the these services, will be able to protect his rights. Summing up, there is no doubt that the relation between consumer and patient are quite complicated, but on the other side, very important from the legal point of view.
Abstrakt
Rynek usług zdrowotnych w ostatnich latach rozwija się dynamicznie, dlatego też istnieje potrzeba zwrócenia uwagi na pojawiające się zagrożenia. Konsument, który umiejętnie będzie identyfikował charakter usług zdrowotnych może skutecznie dochodzić swoich praw, tym bardziej, że liczba podmiotów wykonujących działalność leczniczą wciąż rośnie. Problematyka bezpieczeństwa prawnego konsumentów-pacjentów jest obszerna i złożona. Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie zagadnień związanych z prawami pacjenta jako konsumenta i możliwością dochodzenia przez niego roszczeń w świetle przyjętej ustawy o prawach konsumenta.
